Heathrow Drop Off Charge

Heathrow Airport is implementing a drop-off charge for all drivers tranporting family, friends to the airport terminals – but when do these charges start?

After 18 months for lockdowns and people not travelling abroad for holidays and busines travel, Heathrow airport have had a tremendous impact on revenue.
From 1st of November a charge of £5 will be charged for everyone dropping off passengers, that includes airport taxi companies too.

How will this affect those booking Woking taxis to Heathrow?

At Woking Airport Transfers we are now including this £5 drop-off charge in our Woking to Heathrow taxi service. When use our online booking tool the charge will be added automatically.

The drop-off charge does not affect passenger pick-ups, which will continue to take place via the car parks. You can always opt for our meet and greet service, where we can meet you in arrivals at the cost of parking (normally £5.10 for 30 mins)
